I've only had this cooler for a short time, but it has served me well in the time I've had it. The hopper 40 is a little on the large side, but it is still easy for my 6'2" self to manage. Perfect size for filling with goodies for a weekend away! I'm currently on a little three day road trip and I still have ice in the cooler. I will probably need to pick up more ice today. Great job with this one, Yeti! I liked it so much I ordered another as a gift for a friend that is constantly an on-the-go outdoorsman.

I bought this hopper along with a tundra and the ice melts quickly!! I don't know if it's a defect or what. Very disappointed

Ice held great for 5 days..Hopper 40 buy one or two..

I bought my first Hopper 40 a few years ago as a gift for a friend to use while traveling between the islands in Europe to keep the meat frozen and food fresh as he traveled 4-5 hours at a time.

I first saw a Yeti when my kids came home with the Largest Tundra 105 they bought to use for work in construction. Then all over the kitchen appears several Ramblers including one for myself. The Yeti is the ultimate in keeping things frozen or cold for hours! Even 8 hours at Disney in the car the ice was still in the Tumbler!

The Hopper 40 worked so magically that I am bought the new one to take to Europe since my friend requested me bring another when I return this September. After receiving the new and improved Hopper I realized that I love the new zipper location as it allows for a wider opening which allows more storage.

I have several Yeti's including the hopper thirty. My one complaint about the thirty was the zipper which I found rough on the hands and generally not a great idea. In comes the Hopper two, I decided to get the forty. I run ten day camp trips rotating campers every third day. The Hopper is essential in holding crushed ice for me and my clients for cocktails and ice water. It is often over hundred degrees for multiple days and the Hopper will give us crushed ice for three days exactly.

The new zipper provides easier access and makes things stay colder a little bit longer. I also enjoy the single handle located on the other side of the zipper.

I recommend this cooler to anyone looking for a soft side cooler that actually keeps stuff cold. In the winter I actually use a hooper to keep soup and coffeee iunsulated one step further.

Ok so took me several years to drink the kool aid. A good friend of mine purchased a 30 and after seeing his I was sold. I went and bought the 40 because having a little one I have to carry more stuff. We do a ton of boating and last trip out had 12 waters, 12 Coronas, 1 gallon of Juice, lunch, and snacks, and 3 bags of ice. This cooler still had room. Lots of room. The footprint it takes up is minimal which is always important on a boat. I highly recommend this cooler. If your on the fence give it a shot you won't be disappointed. I'm also glad we went with the larger cooler as I can't believe what all it will hold. We returned from that boating trip Sunday. Monday I cleaned the cooler out, still had lots of ice and what water was in it was freezing. Money well spent. Not to mention lost a mollie zinger after a faulty plate broke and shot it into the lake. Customer service without missing a beat said they would replace it immediately and sent one out. Who does this? That's how customer support is suppose to be.

I am very happy with this purchase! Easy to travel with on an airplane, full of meat, to being packed in a car on a family camping trip, we have used and abused our Hopper Two 40 and it has not disappointed at all!

Great cooler, seems much larger when you have the physical cooler in hand. My wife & I are shorter so it can feel bulky when moving it around but it holds plenty of what we need so it's not a big deal. Works great for road trips, sits right behind the seat and keeps food & drinks cold for a couple days. Loaded it up with some Yeti ice blocks, ice, and drinks on a Friday morning to go on a trip and left Yeti cooler in car behind the seat for entire weekend. Temperatures got in to the 90's that weekend, when we got back home Sunday afternoon most of the ice had melted and the Yeti ice blocks were thawed but the leftover drinks were still cold and went back in the fridge, awesome product.

This is the most amazing cooler I have ever had. Bought this for my trip to California. Not only did it keep my food cold for days it was easy to store in the car and easy to take into the hotel room. Thanks for making such a great product. One less thing to have to worry about.
