The 800-fill goose down keeps you warm, while the jacket's satin polyester shell treated with a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) blocks out wind. With elegant contoured quilting, an articulated hood that stealthily stows into a shawl collar, a 2-way zipper with wind flap, zippered on-seam handwarmer pockets and an interior chest pocket for stashing must-haves. Length falls to hip. Down insulation has a higher warmth-to-weight ratio than synthetic insulation, and it is also more compressible.
