The web site recommended a size 42. I bought a 43 and was concerned at the first try on that they would be too big. They were just right. The shoes accepted the cleats that I already had and worked well on the first test ride (just around the block ). Time and weather have eliminated the chance for a longer ride but I have high hopes.

Make sure you look at their sizing chart and, when in doubt, size up. Pearl Izumi EU to US size conversion is different than what most companies use. Traditionally a EU 45 is an 11. 5. Pearl Izumi says that it is a 10. 5. I purchased these on "Final Sale" using traditional fit guidelines so they are too small and cannot be returned due to the final sale.

Not the quality that I expected from Pearl Izumi. Seems like a cheap Chinese knockoff instead of a quality cycle shoe. Not worth the price even at 30 percent off.

Didn't have my 9 1/2 U. S. size so went to a 44 on recommend from your staff.
Unfortunately they run long. Width is ok but would have been a better fit with true size. 44 was 1/2 size up. Could possibly gone DOWN a half or even a full size 44. 5.

I have extra-wide feet and am also 70 years old, so my feet are wide and sometimes a little swollen. Cycling shoes built for 20-year-olds don't work. Pearl Izumi's All Road v5 shoes looked like they might be rigid enough for effective power transfer when pedaling, while offering enough "give" for my feet. I ordered a size larger than the size conversion chart indicated (in my case, I normally wear a size 12, but I ordered the shoes in size 13), and they are a perfect fit. They connect solidly with the pedal, but are roomy enough so that my feet don't feel squished. I like these shoes a lot; I haven't found a better shoe for my foot type at any price.

Great bike shoe. Fits well, selected 1/2 size larger than my usual size.

Super comfortable. My foot is wide across the ball of the foot. Some cycling shoes are just too narrow for me. I wasn't sure about the velcro, however, adjusting the velcro for the shape of my foot makes these shoes a perfect fit.

Very stiff sole makes walking somewhat limited. Aggressive lugs on sole best for gravel, not asphalt. But, if you want to walk off the bike, they fir the bill. Shoe is light weight tilted more towards performance yet well padded for comfort. At the end of the day, the trade offs are manageable. Just not a trail busting off road shoe. For my purposes, it is adequate for my days on pavement with walking to a meal or shopping
