I was very disappointed with how small the load stops were height wise I'm a plumber when I carry pipe on the truck I need taller load stops. I had load stops from thule in 2012 They were much taller I don't know why they're so small I would never get those again if there's a different option I would prefer that

Is Fit with Thule Trail 823 or 824?

This load stop is presented beneath the product page for the Probars, with a heading that indicates the pictured accessories are compatible with the Probar. The picture shown with the load stops does not show a probar in use. The probar's top slopes downward. The loadstop writeup states "Compatible with Thule AeroBlade, Thule Rapid Aero, Thule Xsporter Pro, Thule Xsporter and Thule TracRac 'XT' Aluminum bars (sold separately." So, IS the load stop compatible with the probar? I need 79" bar length so I'm stuck with the Probar. What will work with it???

The Thule website specifically states that the Aero Load Stops 502 are not compatible with the Thule Wingbar Evo crossbars. One online retailer stated that the Thule Load Stops they stock, with a different product number, are compatible with the Wingbar Evos. This is definitely not the case. I was mislead by the product number, thinking that this was a Load Stop design that was compatible with my crossbars. Thule needs to develop more accessories that will fit the Wingbar Evos! At a minimum they should provide T-bolts in various lengths that will slide into the Wingbar Evo T-slots.

I purchased not 1 set, but 2 sets as I was impressed with the design of these load stops, that I decided to purchase another set of racks for the cab of my F150 CrewCab and made my aluminum boat more secure on top!

I use the 500xt with the load stops to carry my Kevlar fishing canoe on a F150 four door with the short bed.
Works easy for me and holds well. Does the job. Up and out of way.

I have the kayak supports that slide into my roof rack and they work great. I bought these to haul lumber on the rack. But they won't slide into the roof rack more than 2". I'm mechanically inclined. They just don't fit!!
