Great buy and great customer service
Love the wireless audio these chips provide. Can answer calls easily and even turn up the volume/change songs with mitts on. The customer service is top notch as well, as I was trying to pair them this new season and thought I needed the app they used to use. But nope, they just pair up like usual now with a bit of guidance from he support team. No need for the walkie talkie app anymore !!

Convenient, Powerful
These are great, they give awesome sound, and are easy to use. ProTip - to pair the speakers, ensure you don't turn them on first. Hold the button for 6 seconds, starting with the Chips turned off in order to enter pairing mode. Also, I find that these are very convenient, as I don't need to take them out of my helmet to charge them, can plug them in while keeping the in the helmet. The newer Chips Ultra need to be taken out of the helmet to charge, which seems like a hassle. These are awesome speakers.

Music + Skiing = Most Fun Ever
I have been using these since 2017 and ski with them every day. All of your favorite playlists and songs with wireless Bluetooth technology plus hands-free phone operation. This is a must have for every skier.
These helmet speakers should be at the front shelf of every ski store at the checkout register because more people need to know the fun that the speakers bring.
Open a new dimension of skiing excitement while you are listening to the awesome sound of these speakers!

Awesome. Needs dual charge ports, though.
These things are fantastic.
The only minor problem is my Smith helmet makes it inconvenient to charge unless I put the right headphone in the left slot.
A short charging extension cord or dual charging ports would be a welcome addition.

Not what I expected
Well I have been using the chip for 2 season. I wouldn't say it's amazing like other reviews said, there are 2 flaws that really bothers my experience with the chip 2.0. First thing was the Bluetooth connection cutting in and out. At first I thought it was my android phone, so I switch over to iPhone but still getting chippy music. Second thing is the quality of the Music. The music are extremely flat. No Bass at all. Oh! and also the charging cable, good luck if you left your cables at home on a ski trip. For sure you will have a hard time finding replacement cord. Its not USB it's a headphone jack cable. Well I am hoping to see a 3.0 ver. Coming out soon.

Awesome helmet speakers
These helmet speakers are seriously the best investment I've made in years. Great sound when listening to my playlist or when taking a phone call. No taking my gloves off and digging for my phone when a call comes in! It also tells you the phone number, so you only answer the calls you want to and all with just a tap on your right ear area of your helmet. I seriously couldn't be happier with these speakers.....unless I could make a call without taking my phone out. Also if you are sitting on the chair and need to pause your music while talking to someone, just tap your right ear once! Make sure your helmet is audio compatible. The speakers will slip effortlessly into the pouch over your ears in the helmet.

Finally a ski audio product that I can use while wearing gloves!
I dropped these into my Smith Helmet and use them every day. I really like that the pause/play button is so easy to press with gloves on.
I had an issue with an online order and they were able to help me the next day.

Great company!
I have just purchased my second set of wireless chips to go along with my two Buckshots and my ODT Privates (not to mention the K-roo pouches, headband and head cover) ! I bought my first chips two or three years ago and only replaced them because I lost them, they were still going strong! I just want to say that I love your company and always go to you first for my bike stuff!

only has a 2ft bluetooth range but stays charged for days.
only has a 2ft bluetooth range but stays charged for days.
i deliver food on bicycle 6 days a week. i literally have them connected and powered-on all-day everyday. now im not necessarily playing audio thru them the whole time. the bulk of my use consists of accessing google assistant, hands free to make calls to customers. so the mic is what i rely on probably more then the drivers. and i have to say, im hugely pleased that the mic is my real MVP, picks up my voice flawlessly even in some of the most dense of traffic and street noise. and i think it goes without saying that the sound quality of the drivers is top notch as well.
HOWEVER
the one issue is the limited range of the bluetooth connectivity while in motion on the bicycle. if my fone isnt strapped to my chest, the connection is weak(terminally) or drops if my fone is any further away from my helmet then my belly button. idk what the reason is for that.
