Maysis short term review
I bought this boot early January 2021 and went boarding at cypress mountain (Vancouver area) 2-3 times per week (mostly freeride). The clicker system is a 9/10 on non powder days. It could be easier to get out but it is definitely not a problem. On powder days however it really suffered from having the locking system on the boot sole and required cleaning the ice build up every time before clipping in.

The boot is pretty stiff and i took some time finding the sweet spot on being tight enough to compensate for the lack of bindings straps and not cutting circulation on my foot. The reason for my somewhat low score is due to the fact that the boa cables are starting to cut the boot at both of them at the same locations.
And it could afford to have more padding at the top. After a couple hours riding my calf gets pretty sore.

clicker pro hi backs
Clicker pro hi backs where the best. Can K2 bring back the clicker with the hi backs on them they where best version the made plus clickers gave you back in the day so many more boot companies to choose from K2, ride, Shimano's, morrow and nitro all had clicker. Also can k2 bring back k2 trucker, k2 Eldorado and k2 fat bob. and k2 clicker snowshoes and ice crampons

Thanks for bringing back step-in performance
I have been riding the old Clicker system (integrated highback) for years including lots of heliboarding and it worked perfectly fine for me. Afterwards I switched to the Auto System which I loved as well. This winter I was looking forward to the new Clicker X and it works really well. The quality is top notch as usual with K2 and if your feet work with K2 boots you're golden. I ride the Maysis boot and it performs really well, be aware that the power strap may stiffen the boot too much, I usually don't tighten it at all. There is a small learning curve with the step-out, rather step back than up, especially with lots of forward lean (I increased mine to get more response). Overall the system rides like a traditional Lien AT with Thraxis boots. The only real downside of the system is the increased footprint of the boot/bindings on the board, due to the mandatory gap between the heelcup and the boot. I would like to see in the future an increase of the forward lean (4mm) and a Thraxis Clicker X boot.

K2 killed it with these!
I rode the clickers back in the day when they first came out and I thought they were Pretty dialed, they were solid bindings, fast in and out, and the response was insane. These are an updated version with 3° canting, a plastic/nylon baseplate and highback with a t6 aluminum adjustable heel loop, and quick tool free four position forward lean options. The new versions of the clicker also do a better job at under boot snow pack, so it's easier to engage in deep snow or ice. One thing I can suggest improving on Is to increase the amount of forward lean options and have the greatest option be a little more then what it is now.

Used old style for years.
I am using Clicker bindings that are roughly 20 years old. I wore out the original boots and bought the Compass boots in 2016 spring. They worked fine all last year but I did have to file the back of the bindings a small amount to get them to engage correctly. Sometimes I have to push the lift lever on the back instep down with a friend's ski pole when I click in on the lift. The big advantage is getting off the lift ready to go (assuming it's a downhill run off the lift). I started doing this back when some lifts had a steep runoff. They now seem to be flat even though snowboards were common well before Clickers. I have no experience with split boards but for lift assisted boarding, these are great. I don't think they are very well known. I see old bindings rarely at Mt. Bachelor in Oregon and have never seen the new style. I also find the heel to toe speed/control is better than old soft bindings but haven't used any more modern bindings. The main thing to consider is you're locked into boots made for these bindings which are the two made by K2. If you're not a big equipment buyer like me then new boots may not exist in 10 years.

Awesome - Great Work K2!!!
I likely would not have gone with step-ins but since they were a gift, I gave them a try. I am so glad I did. After 50+ days riding in all conditions all over Colorado, I can honestly sat that these are the best boot/binding combo I've ever had. The performance and bomber design made riding a blast this year and lets face it, at 42 years old, I definitely don't miss all the bending and sitting getting into my old bindings. And bonus, no more b*tching from my skier friends about waiting for me to clip in either...

Best system ever
I've been riding Clickers for over a decade and reckon they are the best system ever designed. I score heaps more runs than my buddies using strap-ins. I just love the freedom of "click and go". Rock on Clickers!

Great alternative to buckling up
I've been riding these for a few seasons now... love the ease of use.. they work great in all conditions... love getting off the lift, stepping in and I'm gone, while my friends sit and buckle in.. one issue is the pin that holds the lock lever can slide out.. then you lose the lock lever... other than that they're fantastic..
