The K2 Men's Excavator Snowboard offers intermediate to expert riders the ability to carve on groomers and float in the soft snow. This board is made from K2's all new Bambooyah™ Pro Core that places bamboo and aspen at 30° underfoot to supercharge the edge-to-edge response and increase the pressure distribution along the edge, while lightweight paulownia is placed in the tip and tail help to reduce swingweight and complementary tip to tail bamboo stringers help with snap, stability, and damping. The wider profile of the Excavator allows riders to size down around 5 cm from their usual snowboard size, allowing you to get all of the performance out of a longer board without the extra swing weight. It features ultra-lightweight Carbon Power Fork™ additives that are strategically shaped to offer greater response and energy return by increasing the width toward the tail, allowing for more material to be engaged, and more energy to be created the harder the tail is flexed. Its ICG™ 10 Glass with Carbon integrates carbon fiber stringers that run the length of the board into the fiberglass, increasing the snap of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity while the Carbon Infused 5500 Sintered base adds carbon to a sintered base, increasing wax retention and decreasing drag for a faster, smoother ride.
