The Elan Men's Ripstick 86 Freeride Skis are perfect for intermediate to advanced riders in All Mountain Freeride conditions. Fiberglass and Vapor Tip Inserts are combined to create TNT Technology for an extremely lightweight high performance ski that dampens chatter. The fiberglass improves the structural integrity and the vapor tip inserts reduce vibration giving you a smooth ride.
SST Construction provides nimble, quick and direct power transmission, as well as exceptional torsional rigidity. The Tubelite Woodcore has two super lightweight carbon tubes that are inserted into a laminated wood core and run the length of the skis, giving you incredible lightweight stability and response. The Ripstick 86 Freeride Skis by Elan have a Mountain Rocker Profile that incorporates a moderate amount of camber underfoot with a moderate tip and tail rocker for easier turn initiations, better floatation andversatility in varied snow conditions.
We recommend pairing these FLAT skis with an 80-100mm brake binding like the Look Pivot 12, Tyrolia Attack 13, or the Marker Squire.
