The Cannondale Men's Fat CAAD 1 Mountain Bike is built for traction, durability with a Fatty Fat fork and a stiff and light SmartForm C1 alloy construction. It has an extra long 55mm fork offset for light, lively and precise steering. The Si Crank uses an oversized aluminum spindle to save weight and improve power transfer. The Fat CAAD 1 has an Ai Offset chainring that shifts the chainline outboard, allowing short chainstays for agility and traction, with clearance for full 4.8" tires, all while keeping the Q-factor narrow. The SAVE Micro-Suspension delivers a smoother, more controlled ride thanks to strategically engineered flex zones built into the frame's rear triangle.
