The company was started by a group of artists and designers who wanted to create environmentally sustainable products for board sports enthusiasts. Arbor is known for its unique designs and commitment to sustainability. Arbor's snowboards and skateboards are made with sustainably sourced wood, including bamboo, koa, and maple. Leaving it Better Than We Found it is at the core of the operation, with 100% Solar Energy manufacturing and 80% of materials and processes being sustainable. Currently, Arbor Collectives Returning Roots effort has helped plant over 500,000 trees in forests being restored and protected in Hawaii.
