Our Snowboard Service Offerings Explained
From full tunes to quick waxes, our Outdoor Experts treat every board like it’s their own. As major snowboarding enthusiasts, we know what your board needs to perform its best in Colorado’s conditions.
Every tune starts with a conversation. We ask questions like, “How do you ride?” “What kind of terrain do you love?” From there, we’ll tailor your service to fit your style, whether that’s smoothing out a base that’s seen too many rails, sharpening edges for steeper terrain, or perfecting your stance for maximum control. When you leave our shop, your setup won’t just be ready for the mountain. Your board will feel like an extension of you.
Here’s a more in-depth look at what we offer in-store:
Snowboard Waxing
Temperature-specific wax makes a world of difference. Choose a quick belt wax for a same-day speed boost or a custom hand wax for enhanced durability and buttery-smooth glide. We’ll match the wax to the local snow, so you’ll float easier in Beaver Creek’s powder stashes and cruise faster through Vail’s flats.
Snowboard Mounting
A solid stance means better control. Our team will mount and adjust your bindings according to your stance width, riding style, ability, and boot size. Whether you’re rocking a Channel system or standard 4x4 pattern, we’ll ensure your bindings feel secure and perfectly aligned before your next shred session.
Snowboard Tuning
Even the best board loses its edge after a few hard runs. When it’s time for a tune, we restore your board’s grip and balance with precision edge sharpening, base repair, and a finish tailored to Colorado’s winter conditions. Expect smoother carves, more control on icy mornings, and that “brand-new board” glide every time you drop in.
Please note: Service times may vary depending on the time of day, condition of your snowboard, and store volume. We recommend calling ahead to confirm availability at our Avon location, especially if you’re on a tight schedule or require same-day service.
