Our Ski Service Offerings Explained
Great skis deserve great care, and as seasoned skiers can confirm, a decent tune can make all the difference. If you notice dull edges, a chalky base, or deep scratches in your base, bring your gear into our ski shop in Avon for professional care from our Outdoor Experts.
Here’s what we can do for you in-store:
Ski Waxing
The right wax turns good skis into great ones. We tailor each wax to match Avon’s winter conditions, so you’ll feel the difference from the first push off the lift. Choose a quick belt wax for a fast refresh or go for a custom hand wax when you want maximum glide and durability. Either way, your skis will thank you with runs so smooth you’ll remember why you fell in love with riding in the first place.
Ski Tuning
Our full tune package sharpens edges for confident turns, smooths out any base damage, and finishes with a hot wax so you glide effortlessly over any snow conditions. Let our ski shop technicians work their magic, and you’ll be carving icy morning groomers with precision, floating through fresh powder with ease, and enjoying every run at peak speed and control in no time.
Ski Mounting
Bindings are the key element to a safe experience, and proper mounting matters. Our Outdoor Experts ensure they’re positioned and adjusted for your stance, skill level, and skiing style. The result? You’ll enjoy safer runs, better performance, and a setup that feels like it was made just for you.
Please note: Service times may vary, and some tune-ups can be completed the same day. We recommend calling ahead to confirm availability if you’re on a tight schedule.
