Make-A-Wish Foundation Celebrates Wish for Stafford Teen to Visit Hawaii with Pre-Vacation Shopping Spree
Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana is granting the wish of a Stafford teen battling leukemia for a family trip to Hawaii, with the help of Sun & Ski Sports.
Wish kid Maddie (age 13) enjoys playing basketball and UNO cards with her twin brother, Myles. When she’s not ordering her favorite meal at Olive Garden, Maddie is leading her squad to victory at a cheerleading competition or jamming out to Beyoncé. For her wish, Maddie wants to go to Hawaii with her family. Maddie is looking forward to taking a break with her loved ones, enjoying the sandy beaches, and sitting by the beautiful, blue water.
So that she is properly equipped for her trip, Sun & Ski Sports has arranged a “scavenger hunt” of essential items throughout their location in Katy Mills Mall, and staff will assist Maddie as she searches the store for everything needed for a perfect vacation. Sun & Ski Sports has also provided some “surprises” for Maddie to discover throughout the store.
