Our Ski Service Offerings Explained
Sun & Ski Sports is proud to offer local ski services, such as tuning, to give ski and snowboard enthusiasts a way to get back to the lifts they love without worrying about repairs, replacements, or the right advice.
Find these services and more at our Grapevine ski shop:
Ski Waxing
With this service, you can ski with confidence, knowing your skis will glide smoothly, maintain speed, and stay responsive on every run.
Ski Tuning
Have you noticed your skis feeling sluggish or less responsive on the snow? As your edges dull over time, grip and control begin to suffer—when that happens, it's time to bring your skis in for a tune.
Our comprehensive tuning service includes edge repair, base flattening to eliminate high or low spots, and a fresh wax application for optimal glide. You’ll leave ready to tackle every line with renewed precision and speed.
Ski Mounting
Mounting is about properly securing your bindings to match your skis and riding style. Whether you ski Nordic, alpine, or backcountry, correctly mounted bindings ensure safety, control, and optimal performance. Binding mounting is part of our professional services, helping you get the most out of your gear with guidance from an Outdoor Expert.
Please note: Service times may vary, and some tune-ups can be completed the same day. We recommend calling ahead to confirm availability if you’re on a tight schedule.
