Ski Waxing
Keeping your skis waxed is one of the easiest ways to ride smoother and faster all season long. Our ski waxing services cover everything from quick belt waxes for regular upkeep to custom hand waxes that are matched to the snow, temperature, and terrain you’ll be skiing. A belt wax gives your skis a protective layer and consistent glide, while a hand wax fine-tunes performance so you can get the most out of every run.
If you’re on the slopes often, our Unlimited Wax Program is a great option. Sign up once and enjoy regular waxing plus discounts on tuning and mounting whenever you need them.
Ski Tuning
Getting your skis tuned is like giving them a fresh start for the season. Our Outdoor Experts sharpen the edges, run a precision stone grind, and bevel everything just right so you can carve smooth, controlled turns on the mountain. We finish it off with a hot belt wax to boost glide, protect your bases, and keep your skis feeling fast and ready to go.
If you want a little extra peace of mind, our Performance Tune also includes binding testing to make sure your boots are dialed in and your movement feels effortless. Regular tuning not only makes your days on the slopes more fun, it also helps your gear last longer, so you’re always ready for the next trip.
Ski Mounting
Having your bindings mounted the right way is key to both safety and performance. Our binding mount and test service makes sure your setup is positioned correctly, secured tightly, and ready to release when it should.
Already have mounts but need an adjustment or a full re-mount? No problem. We’ll get everything aligned and tested to fit your skiing style and skill level. We also offer cross-country binding mounts along with base and edge prep, so your new skis are ready for everything from groomers to backcountry trails. With a precise mount, you can ski with confidence and focus on having fun instead of worrying about your gear.
Please note: Our availability and service times may vary. To make sure our ski services fit your needs and schedule, please call our Gaithersburg location at 301-948-5200.
