Our Ski Service Offerings Explained
Before you hit the road for a ski trip, make sure your gear is mountain-ready. At our Frisco ski shop, we provide top-quality tuning, waxing, and mounting services that keep your equipment performing at its best from one trip to the next, ensuring your safety. If you have questions on how to maintain your gear, check out our blog, written by experts, on how to tell if your gear needs to be serviced.
Ski Waxing
Fresh wax equals effortless gliding, faster descents, and better protection for your bases. To know when your skis are due for a wax service, check out our guide on how often to wax your skis. We offer condition-specific waxing that matches the snow you’ll encounter on your next adventure, from crisp Colorado mornings to soft spring afternoons in Utah.
Ski Tuning
When your skis start to lose grip or speed, a simple tune-up brings them back to life. Our Outdoor Experts will sharpen your edges, smooth your bases, and finish with a performance wax suited to your skiing style. Regular tuning ensures faster runs, better turns, and greater control on the mountain.
Ski Mounting
Safety and precision start with properly mounted bindings. Our Frisco team will mount your bindings to match your boots, weight, and ability level. Every turn will feel smooth and controlled, whether you’re carving groomers or exploring off-piste terrain.
Please note: Service times depend on equipment condition and shop availability. Same-day services may be available — call ahead to speak with our Frisco team about turnaround times.
