Keep It Pedaling Program
Service isn’t something that a rider may need to do, but something they have to do. This is why Sun & Ski Sports gives riders complete access to year-round protection with our Keep It Pedaling Protection Plan.
Born from the idea that riders deserve protection in any season, our plans are redeemable in-store for each bike owner looking to revamp their damaged or well-used bike piece by piece. With a single store visit, you can receive 3-year or 5-year protection against tire pressure, drivetrain, or lubrication issues.
Junior’s Trade-Ups
A child’s first bike is a monumental moment. The moment they start pedaling on their own, however, it’s time for a new one. Because a bike should grow with a child, not around them, Sun & Ski Sports offers bike trade-ups for children needing a new size-appropriate one.
If you bring in the old bike within the qualifying timeframe, you could receive up to 50% of the original purchase price to put towards your child’s new bike. This way, children can keep going the distance without stopping to upgrade their wheels.
Note: This program excludes BMX and Freestyle bikes.
Trade-Ins
Kids aren’t the only ones who will need a new bike over time. In the same way a child might outgrow their bike, there’s always room for an adult to get the bike they truly want. When it’s time to upgrade your bike, look to Sun & Ski for a quick trade-in.
Our trusted Bicycle Blue Book Trade-In program grants riders the chance to switch out their bike for a version that better fits their adventure goals without the additional cost. Bring in your bike, and an Outdoor Expert will assess its trade-in value, which you can then use toward a new bike.

A bike from us is more than just a one-time thing. At Sun & Ski, checkout is just the beginning of a lifelong relationship. Each bike purchased from us comes with a free lifetime inspection and adjustment policy, meaning you can bring your bike in any time and receive guaranteed, friendly service.
Sun & Ski Sport’s lifetime inspection and adjustment policy only includes basic maintenance, not any services from our other tune-up packages. It may not be covered if the damage looks like it may require a part switch-out or body replacement.

Ann & Roy Butler Trail

A native Houstonian, Justin joined the Sun & Ski Sports family in 2014 as a bike builder at the Webster location. He is an avid road cyclist, runner, and mountain biker with over 15 years experience in the outdoor industry. Justin enjoys exploring Spring Creek Nature Trail and George Mitchell Preserve and leads our weekly Sunday road bike ride. Every year, he spends 8-12 days on the slopes, a tradition he started at just 3 years old. Justin’s favorite adventures are family trips to Keystone for skiing and Ruidoso for summer hiking and biking.
