Gloves - Size & Fit Guide
Proper glove fit improves warmth, comfort, and dexterity. Winter gloves should fit comfortably without restricting movement or circulation, while leaving enough room for insulation.
How to Measure Your Hand
Measure around the widest part of your palm, just below the knuckles. Do not include your thumb. Keep the measuring tape snug but not tight.
Hand Length (Optional)
For a more precise fit, measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger. Use this measurement if provided by the manufacturer.
Comfortable Fit Is Key
Winter gloves should fit comfortably without being overly tight. Avoid excessive pressure around your fingers, palm, or wrist, as a tight fit can restrict circulation and make your hands feel colder.
Finger Fit
Your fingers should comfortably reach the ends of the glove without pressing tightly against the fingertips. You should be able to bend and move your fingers naturally without the glove pulling or feeling restrictive. Allow Room for Insulation Winter gloves may feel slightly roomier than lightweight or performance gloves. A small amount of space around your fingers can help retain warmth, but the gloves should not be so loose that they interfere with dexterity.
Between Sizes
If you are between sizes, size up for a more comfortable winter fit, especially if you plan to wear a thin liner underneath. Size down only if you prefer a closer fit and do not need additional layering.
