Radio Flyer Kids' Flyer 20" Bike

Kids bikes are sized by wheel size, not frame size. Choosing the right size helps your child ride safely, comfortably, and with confidence.

Kids bikes are categorized by wheel size. Each wheel size fits a specific rider height range. Always use your child’s height as the primary guide.

Measure your child while standing barefoot against a wall. Height is more reliable than age when choosing a bike size.

When standing over the bike, your child should be able to place both feet flat on the ground comfortably. This improves balance and control when starting and stopping.

• Your child should be able to reach the handlebars easily without stretching. Elbows should be slightly bent, not locked.

A bike that fits now is safer and easier to ride than one your child will “grow into.” Oversized bikes are harder to control and can slow learning.

• If your child is between wheel sizes, choosing the smaller size typically offers better control and confidence.
