The Cannondale Kids Trail 12 Bike is the perfect starter for kids who can't wait to get pedaling! Tiny 12" wheels, a frame that's easy to straddle and tool-less training wheels makes learning to ride easy for kids and parents. Its Low gearing makes it easy to get rolling, and a kickback-style coaster brake makes it easy to slow back down. Tool-free design makes premium training wheels easy to remove and re-install as they learn. A full-coverage chainguard keeps pants and fingers away from the chain, and a fitted stem cover makes mess-ups a little less painful. It is sized to fit kids' anatomies, with smaller handlebars and grips, kid-specific seats and pedals sized for kids' feet. Hand brakes are paired with coaster brakes on single-speed bikes so kids can build the skills they will need for their next bike.
