SnowExpo 2024 Recap: Exploring the Leading Hard Good Products of the Winter 24/25 Season

What You Missed at Snow Expo 2024

For those who couldn’t join the SnowExpo festivities, fear not! At Sun & Ski Sports, we’re here to provide you with an exciting recap of our annual event. This exhilarating two-day event took place, in part, at our new store located at 6262 S State St, Murray, Utah, right next to Fashion Place Mall. From cutting-edge skis and innovative snowboards to stylish winter wear and essential accessories, SnowExpo showcased the best offerings for the upcoming winter season. It served as a unique opportunity for winter sports aficionados to fully immerse themselves into the latest gear and trends, gaining valuable insights into what the 2024-2025 Winter season holds.

Before we dive into reviewing the latest gear for 2024/2025, let’s take a moment to cover some basics. If you’re new to the industry, it’s essential to understand some technical terms like rocker and camber designs so you can follow along with the reviews. Before we get started reviewing the goods of 2024/2025, if you’re newer to the industry, here’s a brief review on designs as we want you to know what the technical stuff means as you read! Rocker and camber designs play crucial roles in the performance of both skis and snowboards. In skis, camber design involves arching the ski upward in the middle, providing better edge grip and stability on hard snow. Meanwhile, rocker design lifts the ski’s tip and tail off the snow, enhancing floatation in powder snow and making turning easier. Similarly, for snowboards, camber design arches the board upward between the bindings, offering better edge hold, stability at high speeds, and increased pop for jumps and tricks. On the other hand, rocker design lifts the board’s tip and tail off the snow, improving floatation in deep snow, facilitating turn initiation, and providing a more forgiving feel.

As leaders in the outdoor industry, we were thrilled to offer attendees an exclusive glimpse into next-generation equipment from premier brands like Salomon, Blizzard, Atomic, K2, Burton, Ride, Armada, and more! SnowExpo 2024 went beyond mere product displays; it provided an active on-mountain experience, allowing participants to test upcoming gear and apparel from over 25 different vendors at the renowned Solitude Mountain Resort. Whether participants were passionate skiers or dedicated snowboarders, the event delivered a comprehensive overview of the trends shaping the slopes. Now, let’s dive into the top skis, snowboards, and outerwear kits for the 24/25 Winter season!
