Keep It Pedaling Program
Available in either a 3-year or 5-year plan, you can guarantee year-round protection against harsh weather, breakdown, or part issues with a Keep It Pedaling Protection Plan by Sun & Ski Sports. This rider-friendly program covers each part of your bike: pedals, brakes, shifters, and spokes alike.
No need for an additional service with these unique-to-us benefits:
- Year-round repair coverage for multiple years (3 or 5-Year Plans)
- Common breakdown coverage
- Free labor and parts for repairs and replacements

Junior’s Trade-Ups
Like clothes, kids outgrow bikes FAST. This makes finding a bike that will fit their needs for an extended time taxing. You can simplify the process by trading in their old or ill-fitting bike at your local Sun & Ski Sports shop and receive up to 50% of the original bike price.
Then, you can use that credit toward a new one.
Program Details:
- Bikes with 12" to 24" wheels may be eligible for trade-ins
- A bike with damage may result in a smaller trade-in value
- Trade-ins are available for up to two years after the original bike purchase
- You will need to show an Outdoor Expert proof of purchase (receipt, purchase credit card, member information, etc.) to receive credit
The goal is never to slow down a child’s growth, but to give them the right set of wheels to do so. Speak to an Outdoor Expert about your child’s bike’s trade-in eligibility and get them confident in riding again.
Note: This program excludes BMX and Freestyle bikes.

While children may have more of a reason to trade in, we’ve got trade-ups for the whole family no matter the reason. Maybe your bike has been slower than usual, or maybe you just want to try something new. Sun & Ski Sports partners with Bicycle Blue Book to offer riders a bike trade up program you won’t find anywhere else.
You could receive same-day store credit when you bring in your old bike to any of our bike shops and speak with an Outdoor Expert. They’ll offer you an honest, competitive trade-in value on the spot, no negotiation required.
Lifetime Inspection & Adjustments
Every biker knows that adjustments are not an if, but a when. That’s why Sun & Ski offers guaranteed Free Lifetime Inspections and Adjustments to each bike owner who purchases their ride from us. Simply bring your bike to the shop and receive expert-level maintenance without the hassle.
There are a few common bike breakdowns that beginner, intermediate, and experienced riders all experience. Note that this policy also covers e-bikes, mountain bikes, and road bikes.

While snowsports are his favorite, living in Texas has made cycling his go-to activity. A member of the Plano Bicycle Association, Chuck enjoys weekly road rides and loves the Rowlett Creek mountain bike trail. Chuck’s philosophy is all about the perfect fit, whether it’s ski boots, clothing, or bikes—comfort and performance matter. His epic adventures include skiing at Alta, Jackson Hole, and Mammoth before windsurfing in Maui.
