The K2 Men's Annex 98 Freeride Skis are designed for hard-charging skiers looking to shred top-to-bottom runs down the fall line, whether in-bounds or just outside the ropes. The ski is designed with a tapered tip and lower profile to maximize tip predictability in softer snow conditions. The Annex 98 features metal laminate construction of fiberglass and titanal above and below the Aspen/Paulownia/Maple Core for damp, accurate, unshakable performance, ideal for expert and advanced level skiers. Utilizing a unique blend of sidewall and cap constructions, Hybritech combines the accuracy, power, and performance of sidewall underfoot with the lightweight characteristics and smooth turn initiation of cap construction. The Annex 98 includes a new freeride tip grommet that is a clean, simple design that no longer requires a plug. The durable rubber coating disguises a slit designed to accommodate the Z clip for skin attachments, or to build a rescue sled. We recommend pairing this flat ski with the Marker Griffon binding.
