The Tecnica Men's Bushwacker Air Shell Ski Boots are a new Free Mountain boot built for gnarly terrain where performance is critical but is lightweight enough for some hike capability. The lightweight plastic (Triax) is extremely light for hiking around the backcountry/sidecountry and even walking to the bar. From a performance standpoint it makes the swing weight of the boot much more favorable and easy, it just makes skiing easier. Also easy is the Air Shell system is positioned between the liner and the shell. The single air bladder extends around the heel pocket and into the forefoot area. Air flows into the spaces left between your foot and the shell to create a custom, personalized fit without any tools. You can change your fit depending on conditions and your performance needs as many times as you wish. The air bladder also traps air next to the foot to provide greater insulation and warmth. The Quick Instep system offers those seeking the performance of a low volume performance shell without suffering the pain of entry and exit. The Tecnica Bushwacker Ski boot has a variable 98-100mm Air Shell last, a Shock Absorbing Zeppa, and a 110 Flex. The i-Rebound Flex features a metal plate that attaches the cuff to the lower with four connection points. The i-Rebound provides flex resistance and power rebound as well as rear support. The boot also features an Arch Grip rubber insert designed to give traction while walking on rocks or riding your snowmobile. The Bushwacker also has the ability to switch from a traditional DIN sole to an optional Tech Compatible sole (sold separately) for exceptional versatility and awesome performance.
