Perfectly fine to take ski boots onboard a flight, but the odd shape limits ability to include a few ski clothing essentials--always a good idea in case your checked bag gets lost. Shoulder strap is handy, but again the bag's shape makes it a little awkward to carry over your shoulder. Double zipper opening a good idea. All in all, does the job.
