Comments about Volkl Volkl Unlimited AC50 Skis with IPT Wide Ride 12 Bindings '09:

This was an amazing ski for off piste and on piste skiing. Pros, Lightweight short easy to whip around in the trees with two foot powder. Great to ski in waist deep powder on steep back country easy to control and floated great considering the size. What amazed me the most about this ski was it's versitility. Had no problem engaging the edge for racing style carving on the groomers and handled amazingly in the powder.
The only problem with the ski is the stiffiness. It's as stiff as a slalom ski. I am used to racing so it was really no problem for me to handle. I would absolutely recommend this ski for a competitive or advance skier that's looking for an all around mountain ski to handle deep carving and powdered off piste slopes and knows how to carve or race. Intermediate or less you'll have a hard time with em.
