Made for expert all mountain skiers, the new HELLDIVER is the "missing link" between all mountain and big mountain skiing. Described as a non-metal version of the Hellcat for those that love wood. With a 90mm waist is an amazing powder ski with a perfect side cut to permit fast carving on fresh and packed snow. Combined with XBi, this ski makes each turn fluid and powerful with little effort.

Skied the Helldiver 170 cm at Alpine Meadows and Homewood. Extremely stable and well balanced ski. Goes through anything. A little bit heavy, but that is OK if you are a bit heavy too. I recommend this for high speed skiing on groomed as well as moguls and it worked well in light powder. There was a little chatter on ice, but not too bad. Overall a fun ski.

I tried the metal version of this ski and I liked this one better. Our ski school training director likes the metal one better. I'm older and found this ski good everywhere. I did not use it on ice or on hard mogel runs so there could be a downer for that but I don't know yet.
