I was looking for a boot that would be solid for performance and comfort while teaching ski lessons. I have always been a Nordica fan and decided that the Hot Rod 85 was the boot that would work for me. Being a teaching pro I'm in my boots for hours each day and my old boots were no longer comfortable while teaching. I've been in my Hot 85 boots now for two weeks and I can honestly say they were super comfortable right out of the box. This boot is warm as well as comfortable all day long and it will perform whether you are teaching entry level skiers or ripping it with advanced skiers.

The liner is great; kinda furry and warm. Great stiffness for average conditions. Nice wide toe box allows my huge big toe plenty of room. Sizes definitely run big; My feet are 12.5" and these wind up being a 29.5 in mondopoint, whereas other boots using the same measuring system were ~30.5 or 31.0.
