Our family is just picking up the sport of skiing and this bag made it very easy to fly and travel with our skiis. It was was to pack two sets of skiis and poles, plus we packed extra things around them. It was very easy to manuever and has a lot of protection for the skiis.

I normally carry two pairs of skis, one a short 165 cm and a second 180 cm. What a rude surprise when I learned (as I was checking in at the airport) that it would cost me an additional $100 to check the two separately packaged pairs of skis. Upon my return I went looking for a bag that would hold 2 skis and found the High Sierra Pro Wheeled Double Adjustable Ski Bag. There were a number of features that were attractive. The most important was the combination of variable length (~165-210 cm) and the ability to maneuver the bag easily on its two wheels. The bag is handsome, relatively light (41 pounds with 2 pairs of skis and a pair of poles) and well-padded. The space is commodious; there is space for clothing/glove in additon to the skis. The zipper is of high quality and moves easily, even when the bag is stuffed with items in addition to the skis. Although I have made only one trip, it has paid for itself in baggage check charges after the single trip. My initial impression is that this is a great ski bag. To date I have identified no major shortfall. I would buy again.
