Technically these are waterproof, but don't buy them if your child plans on making snowforts all day. The lack of laces makes it nearly impossible to keep the snow out of the top of these boots. Otherwise, they're a great NF product. My son (age 9) loves the fact he doesn't have to tie them. Best used for after ski or casual wear in cold snowy weather.
