Just bought this helmet for a trip I went on last weekend. I definitely needed it, I took a few very nasty falls. For the minor falls, the helmet was great in protecting my head from bouncing on the ice/snow. This definitely reduced the headache later. As for the few big falls, it not only protected my head from God knows what, but it also kept the ice out, was incredibly warm, and looked good.

The style I bought was white with a pink and white inside. At first I thought I looked a little silly (it makes my head look big) but it's fine as soon as you put goggles on and, honestly, it didn't matter because it protected me so well. Highly recommend to beginners and experts alike!
