Perfect for transporting bikes to and fro. Relatively quick and simple to place onto a sedan car. Unfortunately, once it's on, you can't get into your trunk (but that goes with all add-on bike racks).

I have an 88 Lincoln towncar and this is about the only rack that would fit... and its the only rack i would want to fit. It is a great rack, super sturdy and easy to use (tricky on my car though due to the way my trunk is) on almost any car. If you are comparing racks to thules or saris... this is miles ahead of them... miles! Saris are sturdy but awkward fits on vehicles and face it... trek likes thules, enough said.
