Comments about Nordica Nordica Men's Enforcer Ski Boots '08:
For me, the Enforcer is the most comfortable boot I have had in the last 30 years that still has some of the stiffness I require. I have been skiing for 47 years and I've always skied a very stiff boot, usually plugs or at the very least the stiffest boot the manufacturers had to offer to the general public. At 52 years old I don't need that anymore but I find myself still wanting it but at the same time also wanting comfort. As I'm sure all of you know stiff boots and comfortable boots couldn't be further away from each other. I have given up some (not all) of the stiffness for comfort and I couldn't be happier. I still ski pretty hard (no racing) but I still require performance. I guess you could say I'm a fairly aggressive all mountain freeride skier these days and the skis I find myself using the most lately are a pair of 193 Head Mojo 90s or a pair of 186 Liberty Hazmats and the Nordica Enforcers hold their own with either ski. I mount my bindings a little forward on all my freeride skis (the Hazmats come that way from the manufacturer) but these boots compliment the more centered stance unlike my Technica Dragon 100s which don't feel right on either of those skis. I know "stiffness" and "comfort" are pretty relative terms so all I can say is the Enforcers work for me and I can ski hard in them all day long with little or no discomfort.
