The wheelie gig has a few more upgrades over the regular gig bag than just the skate wheel assembly. The compartment padding and handles are a bit more plush, the zipper panel opens completely, there's a nice board strap to keep things in place, and the ends aren't tapered - instead more boxed for even more gear. Had no trouble carrying 3 boards, 2 pairs of boots and bindings, plus my jacket and pants. Still came in underweight and holds up well through baggage claim and road travel.
