As my children outgrow them, I turn right around and purchase another pair of this great boot. It's lightweight but warm and dry. It's perfect for running around in the snow, sledding, after-ski, and any other outdoor activity. Because of it's cushy interior and sturdiness, my kids usually get more than one season of wear out of them. I only wish they came in extended sizes for my 12 year old son who wears a size 17 now!

Our winters are usually cold & snowy and in order to escape the high cost of propane in our rural area of Michigan, we installed an outdoor wood heater. One of the drawbacks of this is that it needs to be refilled with wood and when it was my husband's turn to do this, he complained about having to put on his heavy, lace-up utility boots and wished he had something that he could just slip on and off like my boots. I found the Khombu Men's Traveler Sport Boots and they seemed to fill all of the needed requirements...waterproof, durable, lightweight, well constructed...and at a very affordable price. What can I say? They are EXACTLY what I was looking for and my husband loves them. He's happy and I'm happy not having to hear him grumble about having to take the time necessary to unlace and remove his former clodhoppers before he could come into the house.
