I bought these shoes to replace a pair or dying running shoes. A lot of people suggest easing into the use of ff shoes, but being pretty athletic and a "no-heal" running style I decided to jump right in. My first run was amazing. The sensations make your feel alive again. I run trails most days, being able to feel the ground, branches, and small stones was both enjoyable and advantageous (note: bigger rocks still hurt). The day after my first run my legs were great but the day after that I was a bit sore in my legs and even my core. All in all these shoes are fantastic and I will honestly never buy another pair of bulky runners again. Be sure to size your pair before you order though. I measured as the website told me and when I sized them with an actual shoe it was 3 sizes off. Yikes! Glad I double checked before ordering.
