I bought these boots over 2 years ago. I have went hiking in them multiple time on some rough terrain and also wear them just about everyday. They are extremely durable and very comfortable. Break in time is practically nonexistent and these puppies will last what seems to be forever. I carry a 25-35lb backpack on the week days to class and these provide ample ability to support my weight and my pack while providing awesome comfort (I weigh 205lbs). Buy them you won't be disappointed.

I wanted a boot to replace my Asolo Fugitive, and I thought I would give these a chance. They are a little stiff still as I just got them, but the fit is excellent! I think these might turn out better than my previous boots.

I have several high end 8"work boots but wanted something easier for everyday use that I could hike in too. Ive had mine 3 months now and they are starting to really impress me. The first few days they hurt the top of my feet the bone that protrudes but I kept adjusting the toungs and now they seem to have broken in and are warm waterproof have a very solid sole and the Vibriam lugs are more solid then the lowas or merrels I also looked at. I was suprised they are made in China but have goten past that due to their performance.

As an avid backpacker, i depend on my boots to get me where i want to go over various terrain and with differentiating weight loads. living in washington doesnt help, muddy trails and rain often got my boots wet as well. However Vasque Men's Wasatch GTX Hiking Boots, never let me down. After i bought them in mid may ive logged in over 250 miles in these boots (most days with loads 35 to 45 pounds) over all forms (desert,mountains,swamps,rocks) and the only changes are i had to change the laces once. Perfect for someone with wider, flat feet like myself, whom previous excursions left me with pain in my feet. i wear them almost daily, and with regular cleaning and maybe a waterproof once and a while, these boots will grant many seasons of rugged adventures.
