Over the past 5 years I've tried 2 cheaper pairs of shoes. They caused numbness on the outside edge of my foot up to the small toe. I've had these for two weeks and rode 100+ miles and they fit great without the numbness. I haven't taken them in for the custom fit yet, which I think will make them even better. I think they are a great buy for the money since they are last years model.

I was a little worried when I first tried them on. I wear a US 12 and both my previous brands of shoes I ordered 46's, when I took out these the tag said 46/11.2 US. I tried them on and then rode with them and they fit just great.

I also like the small rubber pad on the heel and toe that helps when you are walking. I don't know how durable it will be, but for now it is nice to be able to walk on concrete without slipping.

I am replacing my SH-R215 that is still in really great shape. I just like them so much that I wanted to get a similar pair before the price skyrockets. This new 220 model is truly beautiful and fits like a dream. I can't wait to try them out. Don't let the super stiff sole scare you away. This shoe works for all road riding not just racing.
