Easy to assemble, but the direction sheet is not the best. There also is an online assembly instructional video on YouTube that is helpful, but you probably won't need it. Conveniently, the package comes complete with all of the assembly tools that you will need.
I bought the bike as a gift for my 5 year old son. I put it on the shortest/smallest settings and it's still a bit hard for him to reach the end of the pedals. He can, but he's at the end of his reach. I don't believe that it would work for 3 year olds, as the product advertizes. After he got to riding it a bit and got the hang of it, he really likes it a lot. It's a cool bike and seems well built. He gets lots of compliments from passers by. It's a never-ending chorus of "cool wheels" and "cool bike," which makes him feel like a little stud.

I bought this for my son for his 7th birthday and he loves it. That was 3 months ago and the novelty still hasn't worn off. He rides it to school every day, and it is still attracting admiring comments every single day. It is a LOT more manoeuvrable than a pre-purchase spin around the store suggested.
There are only 2 downsides:-
1)the brakes are on the front wheel, and as there is so little weight there, they are not very effective, especially in the wet. Why oh why did they not mount them on the rear wheels?
2) It did not come with an assembly/instruction manual so when one of the wheel nuts started coming loose, I couldn't work out how to tighten it as it was in a very inaccessible location near the wheelstop on the rear wheels and I simply couldn't get a wrench onto it. I ended up taking it back to SSS and they fixed it with a super slim wrench and a few skinned knuckles.
Overall this has been a fantastic purchase, and my other son is clamouring for one for his birthday in a couple of months. I just need to work out how I can justify the adult version for myself!!!

My grandson was constantly riding my wife's adult size three wheel bicycle by this same manufacturer. I got him this for Christmas and he thinks it is awesome. It was just his size. He is six years old and delighted with his three wheel cycle.
