The product is simple. It's easy to use, to switch out with other clips. It also comes with new rubber bases for Yakima towers, which is nice.
The drawback is the the fact that they are sold in pairs--why not in 4-packs? And that if you change cars, you have to buy a whole new set of clips (though thankfully not a whole new rack. Still, it adds up!)
It would be great if Yakima instituted a program for trading in old clips--I'll never use my old clips again. Such a program would save Yakima money on making the clips, save us money on buying them, and would be better for the environment.
But that's my only complaint!
