Rubber straps are very durable and holds bike nicely. Looks sporty and strong. When releasing arm with bikes loaded to access the back of your SUV, may need an extra set of hands to help hold the load and gently bring down while the other pulls the red release nob (a bit heavy for someone who's petite). Otherwise I think it's great.
