I drove 160 miles of interstate with 2 12' kayaks on the roof. One on the new carrier and the other right on the rack itself. This was the first time trying this out because I had bought the yaks out of state so it was a little un-nerving at first - but both were as stable as could be at 70mph. I'll be buying another one soon for other yak - I wanted to try one first.

Glad I picked the Pro... the pro Hullaport folds where the regular hullaport does not. With them on top of our minivan, I need to fold them down to get in the garage, and without the ability to fold, I would have had to remove the racks every time the car entered the garage.
The only slight downside I am seeing is that I need to check the wingnuts holding the racks often as they seem to loosen over a trip.

The ability to FOLD is what sold me! I had used my son's "standard" Hullaport which worked great, but had to be taken off minivan roof to put van in garage. This one simply folds down and easily clears the garage door. It retains all the other attributes of the "standard" Hullaport
