This lightweight, tray-style hitch mount has good looks, easy loading and a price thatll make you feel like you got away with highway robbery. Each tray is independently adjustable so you can carry bikes of any height or length. A spring-loaded pin lets it fold down for rear of car access. Plus, it folds up and into itself when not in use.

Buying a drop-in rather than hang-on type of hitch-mounted bike carrier was good advice from a work colleague.
I've only just bought it and used it only once. There is another version that can be extended to carry 4 bikes whereas this one can't be.
It could have (but doesn't appear to yet) a simple balanced point with which to hang it on a garage wall.

Best fit for all types of bikes

I was looking for a carrier that would accommodate both my bike and my wife's ladies frame electric with fenders. The electric bike weighs in at 45 lbs. I also own 2 vehicles, one with a 1 1/4" receiver and one with a 2" receiver. This is the only carrier I found that could do it all. The separate vertical holders also eliminates bike size conflicts.
