Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
It cut down the hum on my Honda Ridgeline, but did not eliminate it. Reduced noise by about 60% and made the noise bearable, where before it was not.
save some money verses full fairing

placed on front load bar
elimenated 90 % of noise
the remainder of noise seems to come from rear load bar
at first glance @ 8 inches wide it looks like a rip off
but it works and beets the fairing price
