I bought this jacket for snow skiing. There are enough pockets and then some to store all my ski essentials while on the slopes. It is lightweight, soft, and warm. The hood and fur lining on the hood are easily removed with zippers, which is much more convenient than buttons (as with my Columbia ski jacket that I paid much more for). The collar sits high on the neck and keeps out wind and snow. My size was not available so I bought the next size up. With the exception of it being a little too big, I LOVE THIS JACKET!!
