Comments about Spyder Spyder Men's D3o Armoured L/S Crew:
I recently had shoulder surgery and bought this as added safety while the shoulder fully heals. The shirt fits snugly and when you're riding feels just
like you've got any other long sleeve base layer on. I haven't crashed hard with, but the d3o seems to work for minor biffs. I've only ridden it in warm weather, but it's not as hot as I was expecting. I'm doing only XC single track and fire road riding.
Even on sale it's relatively expensive but if you're looking for some extra protection w/o going the full armour route it seems like a good compromise.

good product.
like all armour not a very comfortable fit
i don't like the zipper off centered. it makes the jersey somewhat of a pain to get off when sweaty
