Tour de Houston Presented by Apache Corporation, the annual fundraising bike ride, will take place Sunday, March 17, 2013. The severe drought conditions spreading throughout Texas have dramatically increased the need to protect our parks and green spaces. Funds raised from this year’s ride will benefit Houston’s reforestation efforts through our non-profit partner, Houston Parks Board, dedicated to creating, improving and protecting parkland in the greater Houston region.

The route will traverse through 6 Council Districts - C, D, E, G, I and K. The ride begins at City Hall and will wind through the neighborhoods of: River Oaks, West University, West Wood, Sunny Side, South Acres, the greater Hobby Airport area, The 1940’s Air Terminal Museum, Ellington Field towards Clear Lake, and Sylvan Rodriguez Park.
