Fuji's C5 high-modulus carbon; both are lightweight, high-strength, and oriented in a layup structure that maximizes stiffness. Designed with wider cross-sectional tubes than a traditional aero road bike to achieve opti-mum stiffness. Tapered head tube and fork are aerodynamically contoured to provide smooth, uninterrupted airflow over the front brake and across the downtube Proprietary aero seat post with an integrated seat clamp system for cleaner airflow, plus a roughened surface on the front of the seat post to ensure the post doesn't slip. Direct-mount front and rear brakes remove the excess mate-rial of a carrier plate ,allowing for better frame integration and improved aerodynamics; the Transonic's fork is also contoured to match the shape of the front brake, further optimizing aerody-namics. Fuji is one of the first in the in-dustry to position a direct-mount brake on the seatstays instead of under the chainstay, where it is extremely challenging to service Asymmetrical, oversized Energy Transfer Chainstays (ETC) offset drivetrain-induced torque by maintaining lateral stiffness, displacing power more evenly through the frame. Integrated chain watcher ensures smooth shifts without the risk of dropping the chain to the inside. Fully internal cable routing for mechanical and Di2 systems, including an internal Di2 battery integrated into the seat post, that not only improves aerodynamics but protects the cables for consistent shifting even in inclement conditions. Designed with the future in mind, the frame accommodates all the newest wide-rim profile wheel systems. Very wide range of sizes: 7 total, from the 61cm all the way down to the 46 cm for one of the widest size ranges in the industry.
