Salomon Men's BBR 7.9 Freeride All Mountain Skis '12 - Flat
Totally new design in sidecut and shape technology, the Salomon Men's BBR 7.9 Freeride Skis have an oversized, surfboard shaped tip for floatation in soft snow of any depth. Surfy in any conditions, the BBR 7.9 has a super wide V shaped shovel of 140mm at the widest point that tapers to 79mm in the middle and finally a pinned tail at 102mm. The short radius sidecut offers quick, precise carving on piste. The BBR 7.9 has an edgy cap based construction for weight reduction and more efficient energy transfer. This is a powder ski that carves on-piste. This is a piste ski that floats on powder. Like no other ski ever made, literally 2 skis in one, the BBR adapts to any terrain smoothly and predictably. An Oversized Pulse Pad Dampening System has an elastomer layer along the whole edge and shovel of the ski, provides maximum terrain shock absorption and smoother ski to snow contact. The BBR 7.9 has an lightweight edgy monocoque construction over a full bamboo wood core that is built for the intermediate to high level skier looking for a passport to new terrain.
