Line Men's Sir Francis Bacon Backcountry Skis '14 - Flat
The Line Men's Sir Francis Bacon Backcountry Skis were designed for skiers like designer and pro Eric Pollard, who have as much fun throwing tricks in the powder, as laying down switch carves and butters on the hard pack. Featuring tough, vibration absorbing Sidewall construction, plus Fatty Base and Edge for durability and tuning life. Made with Macroblock cores made from solid Maple under foot with light weight Aspen at the tips for durability and reduced swing weight. Shaped with Early Rise and Early Taper for effortless float, easier turns and reduced tail drag and hooking in powder. The longer Active Edge translates into more contact with the snow for more grip and less slip. Thin Tip core and sidewall for reduced swing weight and tip bounce. Symmetric Flex lets the ski conform to the terrain equally whether riding forward or backwards. Fivecut radius shapes blend for intuitive control and unlimited turn shapes.
